Embroidery is one of the main methods of decorating since the beginning of time, whether it's clothes, shoes, accessories, furniture or even books. Of course, hand embroidery is expensive even now, since it is a painstaking, time-consuming work. But it's worth it as it adorns things, makes them perfect and rich looking.

This publication presents some book covers, mostly of the Bible or its parts (Psalms, the Gospel, the New, the Old Testament), and poetry, for example, The Triumphs poem by Petrarch. Undoubtedly, these books are extremely expensive, only rich people could afford them. Now these books are in national libraries and art museums.
