Autumn Step-by-Step Guide on Creating a Stylish Bracelet

I invite everyone to create an autumn bracelet!

Autumn is my favorite season! A splash of colours, majestic fading, memories of summer and preparing for the New Year :) Love all of autumn colours, especially sun-bleached...

To make the piece of jewelry, you need:

1. Fusible webbing.
2. Silk for the back side (or velvet, leather).
3. Edge lace (about 40 cm).
4. Wide braid (about 20 cm).
5. Beads №11 and 15 (I used Japanese Toho and Miyuki).
6. A metallic central element (I used vintage American brass).
7. Faceted glass beads (3 pcs, Czech).
8. Sequins, 3mm (Italian).
9. Golden lace (about 10 cm, can be replaced with glass beads).
10. Little river pearls.
11. Brass rice-shaped beads.
12. Durable threads.
13. Brass connecting elements, 2 pcs.
14. Brass lock and 3 - 4 rings.
15. Acrylic paint.
16. Good mood!

Prepare a sandwich :) 3 layers of the fusible web with the glued side inside, iron it through a piece of paper. Take a blank of the bracelet, 2.5 x 16.5 cm, to add 2 cm for the clasp later, ii painted it with three layers of acrylic. And cut of two pieces of the ribbon / lace with allowances of 1-1.5 cm on both sides and one piece of the main tape / lace with allowances of about 2 cm on each side.

2. Sew the metallic lace to the blank.

Fold the edges and sew them.

Now fix one edge of the wide ribbon with monofilament, use tiny stitches at the distance of 5 mm from the edge.

4. Now take the clip, bend the bracelet, fix all.

Here is the curve you need. Now you can sew the second edge of the tape. Let me remind you, the tape is not fixed, it's only the edges.

Now bend the bracelet in half, press the middle with fingers and sew the central element.

I fixed it with beads.

And went on decorating.

Now process the edge.

From both sides.

At 1 cm from the edge.

And some more sequins.

Imitate zigzag.

Repeat from both sides.

Now decorate blank spaces.

So, use your imagination to add flowers of whaterver you like.

It's time to sew the lock.

Now take care of the back side.Take a piece of silk and two pieces of the fusible webbing.

Apply the blank of the back side.

Then round the corners and make another sandwich: fusible webbing + silk + paper = iron all.

Sew the cloth to the webbing, don't pierce through!

Decorate the edge with seed beads.

And the whole bracelet. It keeps the shape!

Put the toggle clasp. I always make 2 rings where possible.

Try on and admire!
