The calling card of My silk story are magic silk shawls and scarves with designer prints that are literally flying off like hotcakes. And it's so because author Ekaterina Stepanisheva knows the secret of how to combine the talent of Illustrator and entrepreneur.

It all started with the desire to try one's hand at freelance textile designer. The main highlight is each collection: Dreams, Dialogue, Interaction, Universe — the last collection includes images of the sun, planets and moons, animals from the Red Book and fairy-tales.

Catherine admits that a variety of things inspires her: creative people, book illustrations, textile prints, music, nature, ceramics, calligraphy, photography. Most of all, the artist likes working with animalistic themes and mixed techniques: painting and drawing, hand painting and computer graphics. The motto — everything goes from heart to heart.
