Finnish artist Oiva Toikka born 1931 is known all over Scandinavia. He is an artist in ceramics, a specialist in colored glass, stage designer, professor at Konstfack School of Arts and Design.

Birds have become the main source of inspiration. The heroes of his legendary bird collection live in each house of Finland, and of course in the apartment of the artist.

He now lives in Helsinki, in a modern house near the sea. Loves walking down a cozy embankment.

The 83-year-old craftsmen is still actively creating and exhibiting new works.
