I really loved sewing when I was a child. And I feel sad when hear that a girl would like to sew a thing, but she doesn't know how. So I want to share a great guide how to sew a coat for a doll. The result should look like this:

My pattern:

Use wool of two colours.

Sew shoulder seams, then sew the sleeves in.

To start, pin the middle of a sleeve to a shoulder seam. Then sew.

Apply the middle of the collar to the middle of the back and begin to sew. Hide the knot like in the photo:

Sew the side seams, the front part is turned outside in.

Combine the two parts (backside to backside).

Sew the both parts around the perimeter (+ sleeves). Make a button hole, sew on buttons...

The coat is ready!
