A Tiny DIY: How to Make a Mini Suitcase for Dolls and Teddies

Many toys have their own accessories. They are especially cute and match the size when made by hand.

Today I'll show you how I made a mini suitcase.

You need:

- cardboard, paper

- pen, marker, outlines, art

- Moment Classik glue

- scissors

- pieces of leather or leatherette

- patience :)

First, draw the template of the suitcase:

Cut it out and transfer to the cardboard (not too thick).

Make creasings:

Bend and glue:

Fix with thin strips of paper forming the shape:

Now take a piece of leather and apply glue.

Wrap it around the suitcase:

Now slightly cut out small triangles on the edges:

And glue:

Take a thin strip of leather:

And glue it around the perimeter:

Another two strips:

Now make a handle.

Use two colours:

Add clasps:

And attach a postmark:

You can decorate a side with labels and seals:

The whole suitcase may be shaded with dry pastels in some places:

Corners, legs and fasteners are made with a contour (for glass and ceramics):

All is done!

You can travel :)
