Embroiderer and artist Kyoko Sugiura, the creator of the Kyoko Création Broderie brand, is a member of Ateliers d'Art de France — a professional organization that unites more than 6,000 artists and art workshops all around the country. Its purpose is the assessment, performance, protection and maintenance of economic development of art workshops.

Kyoko lives and works in Paris. Embroidery has always been a special means of self-expression, allowing the imagination to carry her away. Having mastered traditional silk thread embroidery in Japan, she came to France in 2009 to study Haute couture embroidery and the Luneville hook technique. Now she collaborates with High fashion designers and participates in various exhibitions.

In 2012, Sugiura Kyoko decided to create her own brand Kyoko Création Broderie. She uses not only traditional silk thread, beads and sequins, but also lace, leather, metal, and even nuts and prefers working with micro beads.

See how she puts seed and glass beads!

The Iguana on the Moon and The Iguana Flower — her most famous works embroidered from micro beads.
