Homemade Puzzles from Plastic Cards

This DIY is on making puzzles for kids, or "what to do with unwanted plastic cards"

Take flat and smooth cards, without bulk numbers and letters. Degrease them with alcohol or vodka. Now take the selected pictures, a printout, photo, picture from a magazin. I printed pics from the Internet on OPAQUE self-adhesive paper.

Carefully stick and glue the cards.

Then carefully make cuts as close to the edges as possible with a stationery knife.

That's what you get:

The edges are uneven, you can see the excess of the paper so carefully cut it with nail scissors

Now we need to think about the backside of the cards. Ydecorate with with one type of paper using glue.

When glue dries a bit, varnish all sides.

Leave the puzzles under press overnight. Take heavy books, I used my and husband's student's books.

Meanwhile prepare a storing box. I took a tin box from under tea. I glues watercolor paper from all sides. You can ask you child to decorate it.

Well! In the morning our puzzles are ready!

And puzzles of my daughter!

That's all! Do not throw away plastic cards! :-)
