How to Make a Shelf for Spools of Thread

Recently I decided to put all spools of thread in their place because they were in a romantic mess.

And I needed some materials and tools — they are in the photo:

At first, I marked on a wooden board and sawed off the sides of the shelа with a hacksaw.

The base of the shelf:

Nailed the hooks. Asked my nephew to help me:

Stained and sandpapered the wooden blanks:

I decided to fis the base at an incline. Marked it:

Drilled holes for the connection screws of these parts.

I wanted to make the shelf aged. So I rubbed the edges with a paraphine candle.

Took white paint.

Degreased the blank with acetone and painted all with acrylic paint, then sandpapered after drying with a fine piece.

Painted once more.

I started to graze the edges and realized that overdid. So be careful.

And I had to again paint, sandpaper and graze.

Assembled the shelf using a screwdriver.

And here it is, the final result:
