Creating an Easter DIY Tree

Recently I've finished my Easter tree and I want to share the idea with you!

You need:

- dry branches

- acrylic primer or PVA

- acrylic paint

- plaster or stucco

- pot

- decorations for the tree

Make the branches of the length you need, prime and cover with PVA. Allow to dry. Then paint the colours you want, I had white and light turquoise. Leave to dry.

Take the pot, mine was metal. If you want, paint it or decorate it with decoupage, for example.

Next, pour water and plaster in the container. Stir and pour some more plaster. Pour until the mixture becomes like liquid sour cream. Put the branches in it, prop the sides up to prevent them from falling. Plaster hardens very quickly, so that work will not take much time. The photo shows how firmly the branches stand in plaster.

When plaster is dry, beautify the ground with sisal.

As branches are already primed and painted, just adorn the tree. I had sewn balls, but you can make birds, rabbits, etc.

It's really good to be done with a child — safe and simple!

Happy Easter and thank you for your attention!
