DIY Beads of Walnuts and Brass Disks with Your Hands

Today we are assembling beads!

They can be done with a minimum number of tools. I will show you how to make brass disks of plates with etched pattern. Instead of nuts you can use and details of glass, wood, leather and stones.

Materials:

1. Etched brass plate.

2. Nuts or other stones of any size and shape.

3. Fishing line, brass clasp, joining rings, clips.

Tools:

1. Tin snips or jig saw.

2. Hammer.

3. Punches or a round metal tool.

4. Marker.

5. Rasp-file.

6. Drill and a drill bit ~ 1-1.5 mm diameter.

7. Pliers.

8. Ruler.

9. Stump :), or any other wooden surface.

You need a tree stump with a hollow for the disks, make it on your own.

These are the details you need to collect the beads.

Get down to business!

Think of the diameter of the disk. Divide the etched plate into squares. 1 mm plate is cut with the tin snips. If you know how to use a jigsaw, do it, the edges will be smoother. But the edges can be smoothed with a hammer, too.

Well, cut, smooth, get even squares.

Now you need to cut out circles. Draw or use a stencil.

Our discs are ready. The next task is to file the edges, you can use sandpaper No. 400 to 800.

And make holes in the discs. The diameter depends on the fishing line.

Now shape the sawn disks. Use the stump, punches and the hammer.

All is done! Collect all items on the line. Take a thick one, there are still metal parts...

Fasten the clasp from one side and the joining ring from the other, and, of course, remember to secure the line with clasps.

That's all! Wear and enjoy!
