How to Sew Pillow Cases with Cute Prints: Simple and Beautiful

I suggest watching a simple tutorial on decorating cushions for a child's room.

You need:

1. Checked fabric.

2. Print on linen (approximately 18х18см)

3. Lace (width 4 cm)

4. Zipper 50 cm (I have a hidden one)

5. Scissors, needle, measuring tape, chalk, threads, pins....

Sewing cases for pillows of 50 x 50 cm.

The pillows were bought at a store.

A case consists of 2 squares.

The upper square 52х52 (including allowances).

The bottom square 52х54 (including allowances and allowances for the zipper).

Next, take the upper square, so to say, the"face" of the cases!

Pin the print and apply the lace.

Lay the corner and also pin it.

Fold all the corners this way.

The last corner this way:

cut the bottom layer of lace diagonally, and the top layer is put and pinned parallel to the cut.

Then stitch the inner and outer square along the edge of the lace.

The painstaking is behind. Iron and put aside.

Insert the zipper in the second square, iron, too.

Stitch both squares.

Turn outside in.

Tack on the edges, iron.

The stitch with a dark green thread.

Now the cushion inside will be slightly smaller, but rounder.

Insert the pillow into the finished case!

I made 3 pads to make myself absolutely happy!

My daughter was thrilled! Her new bedroom in mint colours was complemented with kittens on the pillows :)

I hope you enjoyed it!

Good luck in work, dear needlewomen!
