Kid's Craft Project: DIY Beads from Cranberries and Candied Fruits

I want to share with you my experience of working with the representatives of the new creative generation!
Yes, they are comming without fear of experimenting with materials at hand.

So, the little jewellers kindly share their experience.

To create the masterpieces, you need:

1) large cranberry or any other suitible berry

2) candied fruits mix

3) peanuts in shells

4) soft wire

5) tapestry needle (to save your fingers)

With the help of an apprentice (it's usually a mom and dad), a jeweller needles the wire and pick the "gems" in any order.

Peanut is brittle, so be very carefully managing it, piercing the shell with a nut inside. I chose cranberry because when it is "dry", is does not flow after piercing, does not smell or blink. You can use Chinese apples, berries, garden roses, beads, seeds and other fruits.

The process is fascinating )) "Too" small or large beads were disposed by them in the most ecological way — eaten :)
Non-waste production!

A bright accessory! Now, the photo: let's capture such beauty!
