Kid's DIY: Ceramic Plate from Self-Hardening Mass

It's spring, Hooray! Murmuring streams, the sun is shining, the birds are singing... And of course, we need gifts for moms, sisters, girlfriends. For moms, for example, the best gift to receive is a gift from her little children made specially for her.

We offer you to create your own author's plate with a child. Which also can be a great gift... to a grandmother :)

So, let's start.

Materials:

  • self-hardening mass for children
  • board
  • rolling pin
  • knitted cloth
  • plate (future form)
  • acrylic paint
  • mat varnish
  • brush

Roll out a piece of self-hardening mass on the board with a rolling pin, thickness 2-3 mm.

Press a knitted cloth to make an imprint on the layer of self-hardening mass. Roll it into the mass. Then gently withdraw the napkin.

Cut out a circle of the desired diameter.

Put the circle in the form. Allow to dry.

After drying, the blank is covered with acrylic paint. Again, let it dry properly.

Varnish the plate. Or lacquer with spray. Dry it.

The gift is ready! the last thing to do is to wait for the holiday :)

Wish you much fun and creativity!
