How to Make a Stencil for Painting with Coloured Sand

Many children like drawing with sand and what to do if there is no stencil? Make a stencil on your own!

I purchased coloured sand for drawing, but it can be replaced by semolina which is easily coloured with chalk.

You need:

  • cardboard
  • double-sided tape
  • scissors
  • stationery knife
  • coloured sand

Stick double-sided tape on cardboard from both sides, the protective layer is not removed.

Draw and cut through the top protective film with the stationery knife, then remove the film from the cut-out pattern, or let your kid do it.

The picture is pourede with coloured sand.

My advice. Choose the easiest pattern because you have to draw it with a knife, and then each piece is removed from the protective layer, and kids don't like waiting, for them it is important to fill the image with sand :)

Be creative!
