Sewing DIY: A Stylish Par Avion Clutch

Probably, everyone likes receiving letters, especially from afar. Today I'm going to tell how to sew a simple envelope clutch.

You' need

- piece of hard felt (I took Korean white felt with the thickness of 2 mm and a size of 30 cm by 66 cm, the size of the finished item turned out about A4)

- clasp (I took magnetic button 18 mm)

The pattern is this:

That's all you need.

Cut out all parts:

The first thing is to place the lower part of the magnetic button.

Put it on the main detail, as pictured.

Transfer the dotted marking pattern on felt and stitch it in a decorative way.

Placed the cap button over and stitch it neatly around the perimeter.

Likewise, work with the upper part of the button.

And stitch it to the primary detail.

Now the magic action — transferring the picture! Open up the magical world of transfers.

That is done, the last step is left.

Make sure that the buttons are on their places and fold the envelope.

And stitch the side seams from both sides.

Everything is ready, you can try on the new accessory :)
