Funny Easter Bunny Eggs

Spring, warm days, birds singing, smiles, good mood and of course the eve of the Easter holiday - all this has inspired me to create this DIY :)

You need:
- cotton fabric of mixed colours (pastel shades)
- hollofayber filler
- embroidery floss for noses
- acrylic paint for fabric and a pick for drawing eyes

Here's a bright, cheerful pattern for a perfect mood. :-)
The patterns for a big and small rabbit are provided in full size on A4.

So. Fold the fabric in half, and draw the outline of the pattern.

Stitch the outline on the machine as shown in the photo. Cut.

Fold and stitch the tucks.

Cut off the excess of fabric. Turn outside in.

Fill the egg.

Sew up the hole with a concealed seam.

Then you need to make two tightenings: at the top and on the bottom. Why?

First, the face of the Bunny should not be flat but have a relief.

Secondly, the bottom would provide stability.

Embroider the nose with floss.

Now, the ears... :-)
I used two colours: the inner part is pink, the right side has the colour of the Bunny.
Draw the contour of the ears.

Stitch, cut, turn outside in.

Sew the ears with a concealed seam, pre-pin them.

Now, dot the eyes with a confident gesture using the stick dipped in acrylic paint.

So...

Oh yeah... rouge the cheeks. I used oil paint. :-)

That's it! I hope my tutorial was interesting and useful. Surprise your friends and relatives with such a cute souvenir for Easter.

And after the holiday the bunnies will decorate the interior of any room, it will show a few examples of decoration.

Decorate your window-sill. :-)

And you can keep the bunnies company on the open shelf with glasses. Glasses will sparkle with new colours and eyes. :-)

That's it! Bunnies are not very fastidious and will feel great in any area of your home.

Thank you for your attention and nice tailoring!
