How to Change the Design of a Quilting Pattern

Step 1. Take an old pattern and put double mirror on it at 45 degrees, there is a folded graph paper of the size you need inside the mirror in the photo. Find the sector you like in the reflection.

Step 2. Find it,remove the sheet and draw the border with a pencil along the flaps of the mirror.

Step 3. Use a lightbox to transfer the pattern you like on a new pinned sheet of graph paper.

Step 4. Add what you do not have in the original version :)

Step 5. Finish the pattern of the desired size.

Step 6. Reflect it to the second side.

Step 7. The result. You have a ready quarter of a new design which can be transferred on fabric with a tailor's marker.
