How to Make a Box with an Embossed Pattern

You need:


- metal box for cookies
- alcohol-containing solution
- picture on 677 Freedecorfor for light surfaces
- dot contour for painting
- bitumen varnish
- acrylic paint
- two-step craquelure
- brown oil paint

1. The box is degrease with the alcohol-containing solution and primed with white acrylic paint.


2. While the paint dries out, draw sketches of the future design.
A pattern for the lid.
A pattern for the sides.


3. Cover the lid with acrylic varnish and, after it dries out, soak the Freedecor picture in simple water for 10-15 seconds.


4. Move the picture on the lid using a shift method.


5. Draw the patterns on the lid and the sides.
6. Apply the dot contour to the pattern with thick lines.



7. After drying, cover the entire surface with acrylic paint.


For painting used 2 colors of acrylic paint.

8. After the paint dries out, apply the bitum varnish for aging on the whole surface. After it dries out, the excess is removed with a cloth.


9. Next, apply the two-step craquelure by Kreal on the picture, then rub out the cracks with the brown oil paint.

10. In conclusion, the item is covered with several layers of acrylic varnish.
