How to please a sweet tooth? Of course, with a jar of delicious jam! But let it be more elegant!

Step 1: Tools
- base for embroidery (canvas)
- fabric (for back)
- the scheme for embroidery
- floss
- paper
- scissors
- water soluble canvas
- hoop
- embroidery needle
- ruler
- washable marker
- compasses
- and a drop of creativity (see Step 9)
Step 2: Base for the Outfit
Draw a circle with a radius of 10 cm on paper with the compasses.
Step 3: Template
Cut a template out of paper.
Step 4: Pattern
Using the template, prepare 2 circles: one of the base for embroidery and another of fabric for the back. Take an even fabric with a pattern as a basis for embroidery. You will overcome the difficulties with embroidery on such base using water soluble canvas.
Step 5: Water Soluble Canvas
Cut out a necessary part from the water soluble canvas. Mark out squares on it with the washable marker in accordance with the selected pattern.
Fasten the base for the embroidery in the hoop, define the center and place the water soluble canvas.
Sew the water soluble canvas to the base for embroidery using a straight stitch. The picture that will be embroidered must be less than the drawn edges of the canvas.
Step 6: Embroidery
Embroider according to the pattern. For jars with berry jam, a perfect pattern is berries, leaves, flowers or geometrical figures.
Step 7: Washing
Once the embroidery is finished, carefully remove the basting with scissors and remove the threads.
Put the embroidery in a bowl with hot soapy water. Leave for 10 minutes, gently stirring. After the canvas disappears, carefully swill out the embroidery in water.
Step 8: Assembling
Two finished parts are joined with their right sides together.
Carefully sew along the edges, leaving a few cm free. Turn the item outside in through a hole, iron and sew up the hole with a concealed stitch.
Step 9: The Drop of Creativity
Take a white tape and, making small neat stitches, sew it along the edge.
Step 10: Decorating
Decorate the jar with a bright label and elegant scarf of a tape of a smaller size.
