Ocean Depth Bathroom Peg

Materials:

- seashells and stones;

- peg blank;

- glue;

- acrylic paints;

- texture paste;

- sponge;

- acrylic lacquer;

- hook.

Prime and grind the blank.

Then lay out a composition of stones and shells.

Make a draft of waves and mark a place for the hook.

Glue the stones and seashells.

You’ll shape the waves with structure paste this way:

Put some paste at the wave outline with a small brush and get a rough curve.

Then refine the mass with a stick like if drawing a wave.

Now give the surface relief. Apply paste with brush and rough sponge strokes.

When paste gets dry, prime all surface.

Paint all surface blue.

After it gets dry, slightly apply dark blue colour with dry brush or sponge. This emphasises the texture.

After drying, apply white paint with dry brush accentuating the structure.

Underline the waves with thin brush and shade the seashells and stones.

Cover several lacquer layers in between dryings.

The Ocean Depth bathroom rag is ready!

Good luck)))
