Short Tutorial on Tatting a Flower

For a long time I've wanted to add this short tutorial, just couldn't get down to it)). Offer to make three-dimensional flower brooches or pins, or anything you can come up with).

It is easy even for those who have recently became enthusiastic about tatting))

The flower consists of three separately tatted motifs. Weaved with 2 shuttles.

The little motif:

R (ring): 5 p (picot)* 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 p* 5 (repeat 6 times)

The medium motif:

R: 5 p* 4 p 4 p* 5 or 5 p* 8 p* 5

Ch (chain): 3 p 3 p 3 p 3 p 3 p 3

(repeat 6 times)

In the medium motif, there is a small lapse, but it is invisible in the assemblage, so decided not to correct anything)))

The large motif:

Inner ring:

R: 5 p* 4 p 4 p* 5 (repeat 8 times)

Outer ring:

R: 3 p 3 p 3 p* 3 p 3 p 3

Ch: 3 p 3 p 3 p 3 p 3 p 3

(repeat 8 times)

Now all parts are assembled and stitched together. And in the middle a bead is sewn!

I turned it into a flower brooch and hair clip.

The reverse side of my brooch-and-pin — a crocheted circle from the same yarn. Something like this:

R 1 (row): 2 ch, 6 dc in second loop from hook

R 2: 2 dc in each loop

R 3: (1 dc, increase) repeat 6 times

R 4: (2 dc, increase) repeat 6 times

etc. to the desired size.

The last thing to do is to sew the base... and that's all! Admire the work of your own hands)))

Tat! Good luck in your creative work!
